Hey there my friends! Today i will tell you about a game like: The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan Back in 2015, Supermassive Games released “Until Dawn” – a successful entry in the genre of interactive movies and they did not stop there. ⁣⁣⠀ 4 years later, a new cinematic experience entitled “The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan” finally saw the light of day. Let’s take a closer look and check whether the developers managed to recapture the magic of their previous, Wendigo-infested title. The plot: ⁣⁣⠀ The story begins with a quartet of heroes renting a small yacht to take them to the maritime crash site of a WWII era military fighter. The guys seemingly just want to have a good time, relax, and explore the underwater wreckage. Everything goes as planned until another boat appears out of nowhere and the four friends suddenly find themselves captured by the local pirate gang and have to ransom their own freedom.⁣⁣⠀ ⁣⁣⠀ A few hours later, their cabin cruiser locates an abandoned warship and the pirates drag the prisoners aboard, hoping to uncover the lost treasure that the military personnel supposedly been transporting back home. And this is where the real fun begins... What secrets could possibly lie aboard the mysterious ghost ship? ⁣⁣⠀ The gameplay: Player decision as well as the dialogue options they choose will sometime entail far-reaching consequences. Every interactive conversation comes with three options: a rational response, an emotional one, as well as the ever-popular "remain silent." Indeed, it is sometimes better to just keep quiet instead of wasting time talking everything through. ⁣⁣⠀ A single wrong button press during a QTE sequence might cost any of the characters their life. Screws up a few more times, miss a key item that would've saved someone's hide at the right moment, and the entire adventure may come to a tragic and untimely end. ⁣⁣⠀ Instead of totems like in Until Dawn, here the player can find pictures and paintings scattered throughout the game's world that will usually warn about less than desirable outcomes and may even hint at a way to prevent them. Pros:⁣⁣⠀ - A detailed and frightening ghost ship setting - The charismatic and intriguing Curator character - Being able to replay the story as many times as you need to save the heroes you like - The rocking intro tune Cons: - Certain uncanny and even sometimes slightly unfinished facial animations ⁣⁣ Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One Developer: Supermassive Games #manofmedan
