Question: Any tips and tricks before playing this game?
I'm going to start playing FFII. Are there any tips or tricks I need to know before playing this game? I had a hard time with FFI before; I thought I was ready to face CHAOS (FFI FINAL BOSS), but I couldn't defeat him due to a lack of items. I had to leave the dungeon again to get the necessary items.

It will make you exp grind before you move on to certain areas. Keep Maria in the back as much as possible and give her long ranged weapons/make her your healer. Also, you don't level up in this game like in the first one, you build stats by using certain actions (for example, attacking builds your STR Stat, getting hit builds your hp or def stat, using magic attacks boosts that Stat etc)
